Strategies for Securing Your Dream Job

Are you a smart, highly educated professional?

Hoping to land a leadership role and make a big impact?

Eager for a job you love and the time for a fulfilling personal life, too?

Then you have found the right place.

Are any of these true for you?

  • I'd make a great leader, but never get the opportunity.

  • It’s discouraging to see my skills and talents go to waste.

  • I feel unseen and unheard.

  • My job is so tedious - I get boring assignments while my colleagues get interesting high-profile projects where I'd shine.

  • It's maddening - my colleagues who don’t work as hard as me have been promoted and now make a lot more money.

  • I feel drained on my way to work and even more drained when I come home. I don’t have any energy to enjoy my nights and weekends. And, Sunday nights are the worst!

  • There just has to be more to life than this.

But what if things could be different.

Imagine saying:

I’m excited about heading up my department’s new project. I feel so engaged contributing to something important.

I accomplished so much today, and am looking forward to leaving now and spending a relaxing evening with my friends and family.

It was great collaborating with my colleagues today. It’s amazing how well we brainstorm together and build off each other’s ideas. My colleagues really listen to me.

I had so much fun this weekend, but am still looking forward to work tomorrow.

I'm enjoying the things I can buy with my salary and what I can provide for my family.

It feels great knowing my value is seen and appreciated by my company.

How do I know this is possible?

Hi I'm Gina Steele,

I've been there and was able to turn my career around.

My career started when I graduated into a terrible recession and didn’t know how to network or interview. I submitted 100s of resumes and went on dozens of interviews with little success.

I knew there were things I had to learn.

I built a supportive well-connected network by nurturing relationships. I improved my interview skills, and landed a job at the number 1 firm in the country in my practice area.

I was excited – I thought I'd found my dream job. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.

I ended up with a mid-level leadership role that emphasized my weaknesses. I had overwhelming responsibilities, with no authority to manage them. It was stressful, exhausting, and mind-numbing. Unfortunately, at the time I lacked the leadership presence and communication skills to improve my situation.

I remember that sense of dread every Sunday night. I became more and more exhausted, and eventually - Ianded in the hospital from all the stress.

I knew I had to do things differently.

I studied everything I could find about thriving in your job and your life. It all pointed to understanding the brain science of leadership and having an irresistible leadership presence.

I studied the brain science – and with a lot of trail and error - developed a strong leadership presence.

Soon after, I landed my dream leadership position. With everything I'd learned, I wanted to contribute more. I had found a new passion - helping others land their dream high impact leadership role. I became a Certified Executive Coach through the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business.

I love doing this work and look forward to helping you land your dream high impact leadership role.

I’ve successfully coached more than 200 well-educated professionals, but you don't have to take my word for it . . .

"Gina and I received our Executive Coaching Certifications in the same program and coached together for many years. I was continuously impressed with her ability to transform lives. She is knowledgeable and has great insights. She makes keen observations that quickly get to the heart of the issue limiting an individual’s success. Her warmth allows her to safely push clients to reach their potential. I highly recommend her as a coach."

"Gina has had a wonderful influence on my life. She has transformed me and I continue to enjoy the benefits years after her coaching. Gina is gentle but firm in the way she pushes you to grow, which is helpful if you are nervous, anxious or doubting yourself. She is a positive coach who uplifts you and pushes you to do better out of excitement. She is well educated, has incisive comments, and puts a lot of thought behind what she says. Gina is observant and acknowledging of your thoughts, feelings and behavior and knows what to do to push you to the next level. Gina has helped me grow as a leader, communicator and human being. I am confident that she will help you grow and get to the next level, so definitely give her a call. "

Fatima Shaikh, MBA

"I hired Gina to help me refocus my career and find a position I would love. She lead me through exploring my past accomplishments and identifying the strengths and passions behind them. We then easily identified leadership positions where my strengths and passions would intersect and I would excel. She guided me through finding authentic answers to even the hardest interview questions. She took me from dreading my job search to being excited about my future. Her help lead to an offer that was truly my dream job. I strongly recommend her as a coach. You will not be disappointed."

Mark O'Boyle, Attorney

"I highly recommend Gina as a leadership coach. She has been my go-to person for career advice. Her wisdom and judgment have been indispensable in helping me get to where I am now."
